To begin with benefits, everyone excited to visit the popular sites of the world with their friend or families. Because in this modern environment, people want to showoff their life into social medial through post. Only few number of people wants to know their history. Moreover, to visiting different places of the world; people know their culture and exploring their famous food and outfits. On the other side, government earn money from these locations for maitainance. Today's condition of these popular building is very crucial. At any time mishappening will occurs that put the life of people in danger. For instance, I remember last month's news bridge was broken due to rush of people 3 died and so many injured. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of visiting remote and difficult locations, such as the Sahara desert and Antarctica. The writer outlines benefits such as cultural exploration and economic support for local communities, alongside disadvantages like safety risks, overcrowding, and environmental strain. However, some ideas are confused or generalised; for example, the prompt specifies extreme locations like the Sahara and Antarctica, whereas the student's text frequently shifts focus to general historical sites, popular buildings, and terrorism threats. Furthermore, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and lacks specific examples directly tied to extreme environments. Nonetheless, the task is partially addressed with a clear attempt to cover both sides of the argument, placing the response firmly at Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing some basic organisation. However, the overall progression is hindered by abrupt transitions and a lack of clear logical flow. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or repetitively, such as "To begin with benefits" and "On the other side". Referencing is also occasionally unclear, as seen in sentences like "Therse are some advantage and disadvantage, which I discuss below." Paragraphing is attempted, but ideas within paragraphs are not always cohesive, jumping between social media posting, historical exploration, safety hazards, and terrorism without smooth connecting tissue. This level of organisation aligns with the Band 5 descriptors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses a limited vocabulary range that is minimally adequate for the task. There are several noticeable word-choice and collocation errors throughout the response, such as writing "historical places such as Sahara desert or Antarctic" (instead of geographical locations or extreme environments), "mishappening will occurs" (instead of accidents might happen), and "economical situations" (instead of economic situations or local economies). Spelling mistakes also occur, such as "maitainance" and "Therse". While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey a basic message, the frequent errors and restricted range prevent the writing from achieving a higher band, making Band 5.0 the most accurate assessment.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response features a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences alongside poorly controlled attempts at complex clauses. Grammatical errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader. Examples include tense and agreement issues such as "the number of tourists increasing day by day", "everyone excited to visit", "to visiting different places", and "government have to manage these places". Punctuation and sentence boundary errors are also present, such as comma splices and sentence fragments. Because complex structures are frequently faulty and errors impede smooth reading comprehension throughout, this performance corresponds to a Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on the mix of simple forms.
