IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Today more and more tourists are visiting places where conditions are difficult, such as the Sahara desert or the Antarctic.
What are the benefits and disadvantages for tourists who visit such places?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
If I talk about tourists so, today more and more tourists are visiting places where conditions are difficult and sometimes not safe is tourists such as the Sahara desert or the mountain places. In many countries are not safe places for tourism, but the people yet go to this place. Moreover, sometimes people are regret accidents. In the last I share my own experience.
On the one hand, many people go to tourism in the summer vacations and winter vacations. When people decided for tourism, so don't choose a safe and comfortable places. People mostly choose deserts places. Childern are also with them, so the desert places are not convinent and best place for tourist. Sometimes, they go to deserts corner which is dangerous for them. Deserts a large, dry region of land that recieves very little preciptation.Hot deserts have very high temperatures that can excess 38 centigrates, but temperatures often drop sharply at night due to lack of cloud cover. Furthermore, only about 20% of deserts are coverd by sand dunes, the rest consist of rock, gravel and mountains.
On the other hand, tourism are beneficial for childern and teenagers. When people are going to tourists, all are full enjoy and explore new culture and see new things after daily routine. So all are very happy and feel relax mind. Adittionally, the childern are also happy to see new things, if they go to deserts places or on mountains, they are happy to see new place and play with our parents and siblings are also enjoy. All family click the phoptos in front of deserts and mountains for memory. For instance, I was go to Sahara desert with college trip I was very happy because its my first tourism in my life. I really enjoyed it. And I click photos with my friends and favourite teachers. Consequently, we are going to some mountains and fully enjoy in it . It's to much safe and memorable for me .
