IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Today more and more tourists are visiting places where conditions are difficult, such as the Sahara desert or the Antarctic.

What are the benefits and disadvantages for tourists who visit such places?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, Many visitors are visiting the places, where it is extreme hard to survive, places like Sahara Desert or Antarctic. People need to understand and look more reliable way to go such places. I will provide more demerits and a benefit to explain the situation.

First of all, there is a pessimistic side is allergic conditions during summer season. Mostly too many families are visiting to sahara desert during the month of may, which feels more heat and resulting into the reactions to thier skins and faces. In addition to this, they may suffer from not only vomatting but also from headache.

Secondly Antarctic is the coldest place we can seen during nowadays. Visitors are more often visit during winters to feel the best scenario and beautiful landscapes. For example, An Archaelogical survey shows that, 80% of the mankind have the cold problems and paralysis while visiting such places. Doctors are also advising to avoid such places.

On the Opposite side, there are benefits too. Firstly the students who are exploring such places will get to know more about the History and they get ample amount of skills and knowledge. For example, nowadays while students who are attending schools will get advise from their professors to visit the historical places like Burj Khalifa, Taj mahal to get informations regarding their materials which has used to built and how ancestors had made the construction in a tremendous manner.

In Conclusion, there are more disadvantage rather than the advantage. but Government can make the solution to come out with that problem and people can enjoy by visiting there.
