In recent years, the trend of increasing the numbers of visitors have been raising where the temperature and atmosphere is not suitable for human beings. While this development offers certain advantageous, it has also some disadvantageous. Although there are some benefits of visiting such tourist places, their drawbacks are not evitable.
One primary postive aspects for tourists is that they can enjoy diverse experience from their daily routines. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You identify relevant benefits, including experiencing a different environment, seeing wildlife, and learning about other cultures, and you begin to discuss a disadvantage. However, the response addresses the question only partially: the disadvantages are not developed beyond communication barriers, and the essay ends before explaining their effects or giving a conclusion. The examples about families visiting the Sahara and learning about other cultures are brief and need clearer explanation. The response also contains 207 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250. To strengthen the answer, cover both benefits and disadvantages in balanced detail, explain each point with a specific example, and finish with a clear summary of your main ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, and the start of a paragraph on disadvantages. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “However” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, the progression is incomplete because the final paragraph stops at “That is the difficulty,” leaving the argument unfinished and without a conclusion. Some links are also awkward or repetitive; for example, “That’s why” repeats the preceding explanation rather than adding a clear next step. Develop each paragraph around one main point, use references that clearly connect ideas, and add a concluding paragraph so the essay feels complete.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-relevant vocabulary, including “communication barriers,” “regular stress,” “environment,” and “cultures,” and you use some less common expressions such as “unwind” and “personal experiences.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: “postive,” “dessert,” “demonstates,” and “enthusisat” appear in the response. Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “increasing the numbers of visitors have been raising” and “make a memory of their life.” Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for the harsh conditions and their effects would also help you explain the topic clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex structures, including a contrast clause beginning “While this development…” and a reason clause beginning “This is because…”. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “the trend … have been raising” has subject–verb agreement and verb-form problems, while “Although there are some benefits …, their drawbacks are not evitable” is not formed naturally. The fragment “As the visitors can unwind …, and the beauty of nature” does not make a complete sentence, and “local communities have own languages” is missing a determiner. Practise building complete sentences and checking agreement, articles, and clause structure.
