Student answer (Band 5.0)

At present time due to the affect of social media and spreading the travel destinations in the world we can say more tourists are visiting such places like sahara and antarctica where conditions are tregic.

I have put both opinions from my side that benifits for that type places that local history of that place get glorify and regional government get benifits and earn revenue from that places there is a lot of places where earth unexplored and lot of chances to get new tourist places to the humans.

and disadvantages for the tourists is that there is a challanges faced by them due to the lack of facilities there and tourists deteriorate the climate of that place.

As we all know one place which is also a desert area but from last 2 decade is it is include the world's top tourist destination location that we all know is dubai,UAE government develope and create human made structures, unique designs, and luxirious life attracts people of all over the world.

Near my hometown there is also a place called jaiselamer which is a city in thar desert it is also develope by with time and attracts more tourist from all over the world.

So the last words from my side is that if there is any place where condiotions are difficult which place have to develope by their regional government from that develope they earn revenue and create employement in that particular area

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both benefits and disadvantages, mentioning revenue, employment, limited facilities, and environmental damage. However, the discussion is only partial: the benefits are mainly framed as gains for local governments and communities, rather than explaining clearly what tourists themselves gain, and the disadvantages for visitors are not developed beyond a brief reference to facilities. The Dubai and Jaisalmer examples focus on developed desert destinations, so they do not fully illustrate the risks of visiting places with genuinely difficult conditions such as Antarctica. Your position is also difficult to identify because “I have put both opinions” does not clearly state your view. The response is 9 words below the required minimum. Develop each side with specific explanations and examples directly relevant to tourists’ experiences.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: you introduce the topic, present benefits and disadvantages, give examples, and finish with a concluding statement. However, the progression between these parts is not consistently clear. The second paragraph combines several ideas in one long sentence, and the transition from the general discussion to Dubai and Jaisalmer does not explain how these examples support the points about difficult destinations. Linking phrases such as “As we all know” and “So the last words from my side” are repetitive or informal, while references such as “that place” and “that type places” are not always precise. Use separate paragraphs for benefits, disadvantages, and examples, and connect each example explicitly to the point it illustrates.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main topic, with relevant terms such as “revenue,” “facilities,” “climate,” and “tourist destination.” You also attempt more specific expressions, including “human made structures” and “regional government.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to read, for example “tregic,” “benifits,” “glorify,” and “luxirious.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “spreading the travel destinations” and “the last words from my side.” Choose accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, describe destinations as “becoming more widely known,” and say that tourism can “promote local heritage” rather than that history gets “glorify.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the main message can usually be understood. However, the range is limited, and longer sentences often contain several grammatical problems. For example, “there is a lot of places where earth unexplored” has errors in agreement, article use, and clause structure; “which is also a desert area but from last 2 decade is it is include” is difficult to follow because the verb forms and sentence construction are faulty. There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals, and tense, as in “tourists is” and “government develope.” Use shorter, complete sentences when expressing several connected ideas, and check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries.
