Student answer (Band 5.5)

According to current scenario, it is irrefutable to say that exploring environmental challenging destination can be harmful. Although myriad reckon that it is good to have all kind of experience in one life. By and large, I contradict above rendered perspective. My inclination, back by my stance would be discussed in the consequent paraghraphs.

In this paraghraph, I will throw light on constructive facet of the notion of drawbacks of visting place like desert. The predominant one is ,We can not enjoy by visiting this kind of place.By this I mean to say that, We have to not only follow all the precaution to surive in different weather but also we can not enjoy in hight heat or cold winter. This can be better interpreted by an example, I visited canada in January. It was freezing there and I ended by staying in hotel only.

Another striking negative effect is, One has to be more careful with infants while staying in extreme heat or cold. Moreover, if we have medical emergancy it can be very hard to find hospitals.

Coversly, there are few benefits of staying in various parts of globe. The mainspring is, We can get all kind of experience. For instance, we can get idea that how people are living their life at that place. What they are doing to surive. Another effect is, We can improve our surviving skill. If we can not find our confortable food or weather we can always find other ways to adjust in that situation.

To consummate with referance to everything discussed in the above mentioned paragraohs, I pen down saying that sometimes for an indvidual its easy to visit difficuit places,But with a family it might be hard.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the question and give a clear overall view that difficult destinations can be harmful, while also recognising benefits such as learning about local ways of life and developing survival skills. The Canada example gives one disadvantage a personal illustration. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the claim that visitors “can not enjoy” these places is broad, and the example of staying in a hotel does not fully explain the risks or trade-offs of visiting a remote environment. The benefits also need more specific support, and the conclusion shifts to whether visiting is easier alone or with family, a point not developed earlier. Explain each benefit and disadvantage more fully and keep the conclusion aligned with your main discussion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for disadvantages and benefits, and a concluding paragraph, so the reader can identify its main sections. However, progression within and between paragraphs is not consistently clear. Phrases such as “In this paragraph, I will throw light” and “To consummate with reference to everything discussed” are formulaic signposts rather than natural links between ideas. The opening also says you “contradict” the view, but the position is difficult to interpret because the view being opposed is not clearly stated. Some points are placed together without explaining their relationship, such as the warning about infants and the difficulty of finding hospitals. Use direct topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of vocabulary, including “precaution,” “predominant,” “surviving skill,” and “extreme heat or cold,” and the main meaning is generally recoverable. However, many choices are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “environmental challenging destination,” “constructive facet of the notion of drawbacks,” and “mainspring” do not fit the intended meanings well. Spelling errors such as “paraghraph,” “surive,” “emergancy,” and “confortable” are also noticeable. Prefer clear, accurate expressions over ornate wording, and check spelling carefully. For example, “remote and challenging destinations” and “a major disadvantage” would communicate your ideas more naturally and precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex structures, including the “not only … but also” construction and conditional forms such as “If we can not find our confortable food or weather…”. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles, and verb patterns sometimes make the reader work to understand the point. For example, “We have to not only follow all the precaution … but also we can not enjoy” is not parallel, while “I ended by staying in hotel only” has an unclear verb construction and missing article. Capital letters are also used inconsistently after commas. Build accuracy with shorter sentences first, then check that paired structures match and that each sentence has a clear subject and verb.
