Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and give relevant benefits, including confidence, personal growth and learning about geography and climate, alongside health, cost and environmental risks. The conclusion also summarises this balanced view and recommends preparation. However, several points are asserted rather than explained: for example, the educational benefit for younger visitors is not illustrated, and the environmental impact is mentioned without explaining how tourism might affect wildlife or habitats. The claim that people “should go there” in the introduction also sounds more definite than the balanced discussion that follows. The response is six words below the required minimum, so it does not meet the task’s length requirement. Develop the main points with a brief explanation or example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits and disadvantages, and a conclusion. The signposts “On one hand,” “On other hand,” and “In Conclusion” make the two sides easy to identify. Within paragraphs, however, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The benefits paragraph repeats the idea of becoming more confident, and “This tough time help them in personal growth” does not clearly connect the preceding points. The disadvantages paragraph moves quickly from health risks to cost and wildlife, with limited explanation linking these ideas. Improve progression by grouping related points and using references such as “This experience” or “Such remote areas” clearly, while avoiding repeated claims.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “physical hardship,” “dehydration,” “heat stroke,” “remote locations,” and “sustainable practices.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and the meaning is generally understandable. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “servival,” “desrt,” “pnemonia,” “panguins,” and “finalcial.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural: “a handsome amount” is not the usual way to describe high travel costs, and “environmental survival” does not clearly express preparation for harsh conditions. Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations. A wider, more precise set of terms for tourism impacts and preparation would make the discussion clearer and more effective.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause in “as after facing physical… hardship” and a contrast in the conclusion. The overall meaning is usually clear, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “This tough time help” needs subject–verb agreement, while “traveling … have high risks” has a mismatch between the singular subject and verb. The sentence beginning “while it grants…” also combines “while” and “but” awkwardly. There are some punctuation and sentence-boundary problems, such as starting “it is also beneficial” with a lowercase letter after a full stop. Check agreement, clause structure and sentence punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a complete and correctly connected construction.
