Student answer (Band 5.5)
Now a days it has becomes more popoluar to travel on places that have very harsh enviornment like a Sahara desert or the Antarctica I strongly beileve that it is very good for us it is one in life time opponunity you can explore the different places with new types of likes one is harsh and cold you can see the natural beauty and also some people thoughts that there extreme climate which is not good for health but now there lot technology development in medical facilities , hospital nurse staffs are 24 available to treat you in case of emergancy and hotel room temperature are also adjusted according to your likes so it is very became very safe and worthwhile journey to travel.
on the other had journey are totally depend on wheather and climatic change another factor that I like to include that is global warming. it is very dangerous for human life over there so there might be happen you plan everthings in advanece with all detail included and menatlly prepared that planning to live on next day but your journey will get delayed due to climate change that is very bad for cost and jobs holiday because we all get limited number of holidays in year
In conclusion,I firmly beileve that travelling this types are good for getting new experiences and good memories there are some drawbacks also we should consider there might some risks on journey but that can we manage or handle by proper planing

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question: the benefits include experiencing unfamiliar environments and seeing natural beauty, while the disadvantages include health risks and delays caused by weather. Your position is also clear in the conclusion, where you say the risks can be managed through proper planning. However, the discussion is only partly developed. For example, the claim that medical facilities and hotel temperatures make these trips safe is broad and does not explain how realistic this is in remote places such as Antarctica or the Sahara. The disadvantage paragraph mentions climate-related delays and costs, but gives little detail about other possible risks. Develop each point with a specific explanation or example, and make the balance between benefits and drawbacks clearer.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic overall structure, with an opening, a paragraph about disadvantages, and a conclusion. The reader can identify the main ideas, and phrases such as “on the other hand” and “In conclusion” signal shifts in the discussion. However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into very long sentences, and links between them are sometimes unclear. The opening, for instance, moves from exploration to natural beauty, health concerns, medical facilities, and hotel conditions without clear separation. The second paragraph also combines weather, global warming, planning, delays, costs, and holidays. Use shorter sentences, organise one main point per paragraph, and connect each explanation explicitly to its main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “harsh environment,” “natural beauty,” “extreme climate,” and “global warming.” These choices help communicate the general subject, but the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or awkward, which sometimes makes the meaning harder to follow. For example, “new types of likes” does not clearly express what tourists experience, and “cost and jobs holiday” is difficult to interpret. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “enviornment,” “emergancy,” and “advanece.” Build a more precise set of phrases for describing remote travel, risks, and practical consequences, and check spelling carefully. Aim for natural collocations rather than translating ideas word by word.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to express connected and complex ideas, including a contrast between the attractions of these destinations and their risks. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and attempts to combine several clauses often produce faulty sentences. For example, the opening sentence runs through multiple claims without clear grammatical boundaries, while “there might be happen you plan everthings in advanece” does not form a clear clause. Verb forms and agreement are also inconsistent, as in “it has becomes” and “journey are totally depend.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention, particularly where commas join complete ideas. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking verb forms, articles, and agreement.
