Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is irrefutable that nowadays people have keen interest in tourism. Currently, individuals love to explore harsh places on the earth such as Sahara desert and the Antartic. People came to know about the flora and fauna of these places, however sometime they might have to face extreme weather conditions.

There is a significant increase in the popularity of places where the conditions are extreme. Despite the conditions, people love to visit there to learn about the wildlife and habitate of those places. This might be helpful for people who are doing some research or it can help to enhance their knowledge. Additionally, social media influncers who make travel videos, can earn money by making videos of those places. People around the globel have keen interest in the place where they cannot reach, so they are inerested to see how that place look like and how people survive there. For Instance, a famous travel vlogger upload a vlog of his visit to Antarctica. After uploading that video he become extremely popular and make a huge money on that video.

On the other hand, there are some disadvantage for the tourist in rough conditions. There might me a chance that they might got sick due to the weather conditions. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the question: the benefits include learning about wildlife and habitats, supporting research, and sharing experiences through travel videos; the disadvantages include illness and potentially life-threatening harm. The example of a vlogger visiting Antarctica helps illustrate the social-media point. However, several benefits overlap, and the research benefit is mentioned without explaining what tourists might contribute or learn. The disadvantage discussion is also brief and relies mainly on the Everest injury statistic, which is not clearly connected to tourists visiting the Sahara or Antarctica. Your overall position is understandable, but the conclusion mostly repeats the contrast rather than drawing together the main points. Develop each side with more specific explanation and directly relevant examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “Additionally,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” make the main stages easy to follow. Within the benefits paragraph, however, the discussion moves from wildlife and research to influencers and audience interest without always showing how the points connect. Some linking is mechanical, and the sentence beginning “Which can be life threating for them” is a fragment that interrupts the flow. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, as in “that place” and “those places.” Use clearer links between each claim and its explanation, and make sure each paragraph develops a focused sequence of ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “extreme weather conditions,” “flora and fauna,” “wildlife,” “habitat,” and “life-threatening injuries.” These choices help communicate the subject and show some attempt to use more specific language than basic everyday terms. However, several spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable, including “Antartic,” “habitate,” “globel,” and “inerested.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural, such as “make a huge money” and “keen interest in the place where they cannot reach.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause, although the main meaning remains understandable. Check spelling carefully and build accuracy with common collocations, especially when describing tourism, research, and financial benefits.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast with “Despite the conditions” and a reason introduced by “Because.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect smooth reading. For example, “people have face extreme cold or hot temperatures” has an incorrect verb form, while “the weather are in those place are rough” has problems with agreement and sentence construction. “Which can be life threating for them” is an incomplete sentence, and “a famous travel vlogger upload” shifts incorrectly between present and past time. Work on consistent tense, subject–verb agreement, articles and plurals, and complete sentence boundaries. Shorter, accurately controlled sentences will help make your ideas clearer while you practise more complex forms.
