Student answer (Band 6.5)
Dear Sir or Madam,
I have heard about the investment your company is going to do in my city. I am really happy with this news and thanks you for the support and help. Personally, as a student, I would love if you back the children’s team as it might give lower returns then concerns, it will give am opportunity to the children for a better future.
Firstly, if you decide to invest in the sponsorship of our local children team then I can make you sure, you will get high returns as I have watched the game, the children are very competitive and excellent in their field.
Secondly, if you chose to invest in a concert, our people can experience a unique thing which have not happened ever. It will definitely going to be a profitable decision as thousands of people will come to attend it for sure. There are numerous of artists which can be invited. I would suggest you to invite some really popular artists. It would be a huge opportunity for the community people to meet a global artiest.
Yours faithfully,
Deepak Kumar

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: the benefits of the sports team, the benefits of the concerts, and your recommendation. Your position is clear from the beginning. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, you mention that the sports team will provide a 'better future' for children, but you do not explain how or why. Similarly, the benefits of the concerts are described in general terms. To reach a higher band, ensure you provide more specific examples or logical explanations for your arguments to fully develop your points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on a specific aspect of the prompt. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly' and 'Secondly' to signal the transition between ideas. While the structure is easy to follow, the flow between sentences is sometimes a bit mechanical. To improve, try to use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that your referencing (e.g., 'it', 'this') is always clear and precise to avoid any ambiguity for the reader.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'investment', 'competitive', and 'profitable'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and minor errors, such as 'back the children’s team' (instead of 'support'), 'concerns' (likely a misspelling of 'concerts'), and 'community people' (which is unnatural). Additionally, the phrase 'numerous of artists' is grammatically incorrect. Focusing on more natural collocations and refining your spelling will help you achieve a higher score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'thanks you for the support' (should be 'thank you'), 'it will definitely going to be' (should be 'it will definitely be'), and 'which have not happened ever' (should be 'which has never happened'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they are frequent enough to impact the overall accuracy of your writing. Try to proofread your work specifically for subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency.
