Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The letter addresses all three bullet points of the prompt. You clearly describe the benefits of the sports team, summarize the benefits of the concerts, and state your preference for the sports sponsorship. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited; for instance, the explanation of why parents struggle with sports costs is a bit brief. To reach a higher band, ensure that your arguments are more fully extended with specific examples or logical consequences. Overall, the task is fulfilled effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on a specific requirement of the prompt. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Therefore,' 'Thus,' and 'As per my perspective' to link your ideas. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing (e.g., 'due to that they are not allowing'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but improving the variety of linking words would help the flow of the letter feel more natural and sophisticated.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'monetary issues,' 'well-being,' and 'development.' However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'provide a feedback' (should be 'provide feedback'), 'youngster sports team' (should be 'youth sports team'), and 'work isuses' (spelling error). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over word forms and common collocations to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is good. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('it wil brings,' 'your company organise'), article usage ('on general childrens sports groups'), and pluralization errors ('many problem'). While the meaning remains clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar prevent the response from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and plural forms would significantly improve your accuracy.
