IELTS Writing Task 1 question

A large company in your area has decided to spend a certain amount of money, either to sponsor a local children's sports team for two years, or to pay for two open-air concerts. It has asked for feedback from the general public.

Write a letter to the company. In your letter

• describe the benefits of sponsoring the sports team
• summarise the benefits of paying for the concerts
• say how you think the company should spend the money

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my feedback regarding how to spend the money on the local community. Sponsoring the children’s sports team by the company will provide some perks. For example, it helps them improving their skills and offers them a continuous learning to become a professional players. On the other hand, funding for the concerts will aid the municipality to gain profits to improve some facilities and maintain the public transportation. I believe that the company should invest in the two options because it will provide long term benefits to the local people in terms of services and enhancement of children’s skills.

I would like to explain my plan on how to sponsor proportionally based on the priority in person. Let me know when you’re available to discuss about it.
