IELTS Writing Task 1 question

A large company in your area has decided to spend a certain amount of money, either to sponsor a local children's sports team for two years, or to pay for two open-air concerts. It has asked for feedback from the general public.

Write a letter to the company. In your letter

• describe the benefits of sponsoring the sports team
• summarise the benefits of paying for the concerts
• say how you think the company should spend the money

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am intending to writing this letter in order to express my concern regarding sponsor to a local children's sports team. I hope you will take my request into consideration.

My name is Daljit Kaur and I am a resident of surrey, BC. The reason for writing this letter is that we have a very special energetic children's basketball team that played a lots of tournaments on local level and national level sports as well. All the money raised from tournaments were distributed to needy people for local community.

Also spending money on a festival or concert leads to refreshen the mindful of individuals. The would free their mind from daily workload stress. Another benefit is for people to see live performance.

Before ending here, I would like to suggest some measures to address this issue. I would really appreciate it if the money would invested to a children's sports team instead of a concert for betterment of children. Hope this matter sdeserves your sound
