IELTS Writing Task 1 question

A large company in your area has decided to spend a certain amount of money, either to sponsor a local children's sports team for two years, or to pay for two open-air concerts. It has asked for feedback from the general public.

Write a letter to the company. In your letter

• describe the benefits of sponsoring the sports team
• summarise the benefits of paying for the concerts
• say how you think the company should spend the money

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Student answer (Band 5.5)

Dear sir,

I hope you are doing well. Last day i was reading newspaper then i come to know about your company is planning to sponsor native sports then i want to thanks to your company and this steps will comes in immensely handy for local sports persons because it boosts their confidence and open new opportunities for them to play in future tournaments and they can built their career.

Secondly, live concerts would be beneficial for people because nowadays stress is mounting on people’s mind so while this concert they can enjoy with their kith and kin.

When its comes to spending money then i would suggest to company to make stadium in local area and second security should be installed and spend money to buy New Jersey to give sports children.
