IELTS Writing Task 1 question

A large company in your area has decided to spend a certain amount of money, either to sponsor a local children's sports team for two years, or to pay for two open-air concerts. It has asked for feedback from the general public.

Write a letter to the company. In your letter

• describe the benefits of sponsoring the sports team
• summarise the benefits of paying for the concerts
• say how you think the company should spend the money

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to give feedback to the company for sponsoring children's sports and concerts in my city.

I really appreciate that you sponsor local children's sports because it encourages children to take part in sports, and it will help to reduce the obesity problem among youth and make children healthier.

On the other hand, when you organize free concerts outside, all the people will come, and it helps to reduce stress levels in all the flocks because nowadays, individuals are tired and exhausted from their work. So it's a big initiative that will help people feel relaxed while enjoying the concerts.

In my opinion, you should spend fifty- fifty percent of the money on both the children's sports team and on open-air concerts because it will help both without any partiality.

I suppose it would be helpful for your company.
