Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to explain some merits to sponsor sports teams and for open-air concerts. i have seen this advertisement in 'The Tribune' newspaper on august 22nd.
Moreover, by sponsor this sports team it will be very helfpful for the youngsters to show more interest in the sports games. As it is the very first time in our locality to sponsor any sports team which will be beneficial and children will be very excited and it encourages them to participate more and more in outdoor activities.
Furthermore, there will bemlot of benefits of paying for the concerts which will help the company to make better goodwill in the future and they will also benefit in the economic way beacuse there will be lot of people who want to see any kind of adventrous performance to reduce stress from this fast paced life.
In my opinion, the company should spend money wisely which will assist them to organize such type of events in future.
Yours sincerely

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response covers all three bullet points from the prompt, making it relevant to the task requirements. You successfully describe the benefits of sponsoring the sports team, such as encouraging children to participate in outdoor activities and building excitement in the locality. You also summarise the benefits of the concerts, mentioning company goodwill and economic advantages by helping people reduce stress. Finally, you touch upon your opinion regarding how the money should be spent. However, the ideas are relatively brief and underdeveloped, often lacking specific elaboration or extended support. To reach higher band scores, you should expand more fully on your points with richer examples and deeper explanations.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The letter exhibits a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to address each part of the prompt in sequence. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'In my opinion' to connect your ideas. However, paragraphing is somewhat weak, as the body of the letter clumps multiple distinct topics into thick paragraphs. Additionally, referencing is occasionally imprecise, and the flow between sentences can feel slightly mechanical. Improving paragraph structure by separating the sports team benefits from the concert benefits into distinct, well-managed paragraphs would greatly enhance the overall logical progression.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your general meaning successfully. You attempt some less common words and phrases, such as 'adventurous performance', 'fast paced life', and 'goodwill'. However, there are noticeable lexical inaccuracies and awkward word choices, such as 'merits to sponsor' instead of 'merits of sponsoring', 'bemlot' (typographical error for 'be a lot'), and 'economic way' instead of 'economic sense' or 'financially'. Spelling and word-form errors occur occasionally, such as 'helfpful' and 'adventrous', though they do not seriously impede communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response displays a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. There are instances of grammatical errors throughout the text, such as preposition and infinitive mistakes in 'explain some merits to sponsor' and 'by sponsor this sports team it will be very helfpful'. Punctuation and capitalization errors are also present, notably with lowercase letters at the beginning of sentences like 'i have seen'. While these errors do not completely obscure meaning, they occur frequently enough to prevent the writing from achieving a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement, correct prepositions, and careful proofreading will help improve your grammatical accuracy.
