Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address all three requested points: you describe benefits of sponsoring children’s sport, mention advantages of concerts, and recommend supporting the team. The examples about fitness, teamwork, confidence, community relationships, and local musicians are relevant. However, the ideas are mostly listed rather than explained, and the recommendation that sport is “very helpful for Childeren's and other people” is not clearly supported or precisely expressed. The letter is also below the required 150 words, so it has limited space to develop its points. To strengthen the response, explain how the benefits would affect local children or the wider community, and give a clearer reason why the company should choose one option.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic overall structure: it introduces the purpose, discusses the sports sponsorship, contrasts it with concerts, and ends with a recommendation and sign-off. “On the other hand” helps signal the change of topic. However, paragraphing and spacing are inconsistent, and several ideas run together, as in “People can enjoy music with their families.Concerts help build community relationship.” The progression within each section is also mostly a list, with few links explaining how one benefit relates to the next. Use clear paragraphs for each task point, add appropriate punctuation and spacing, and connect examples to the main recommendation so the letter reads as a more continuous argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “physically fit,” “time management,” “open air concerts,” “community relationship,” and “musicians.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of the benefits being discussed. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors or imprecise expressions make the letter less clear, such as “latter,” “benifit,” “converts,” and “telent.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “a certain of money” and “invest in sport team.” Aim to check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for sponsorship and community events. More precise wording would help you explain the benefits and your recommendation without relying on repeated general terms such as “helpful” and “good.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
Most sentences use simple structures, and the reader can generally follow the main message. There are attempts to combine ideas, for example, “They will learn and work together,” but the range of sentence forms is narrow and errors occur frequently. Examples include “I am writing this latter to your company spend,” which lacks a clear grammatical structure, and “Sport help childeren become more confident,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. The final sentence, “So please your perpose is very good and I respect for this,” is also difficult to interpret because of sentence construction and missing grammatical elements. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add a few controlled complex sentences using “because” or “which.”
