Student answer (Band 5.0)
Dear sir/ mam
im writing to inform that the descision you took to spend money on childrens for supporting their sports team is really a good idea and it gives plathora of opportunitites for local childrens to boost their ability to sports and better well being.
to begin with, sponsoring money for children gives them chance to show their skills and give them a chance to perform best in activites because not only it can cover their all expenses on sports but also it can be a blessing for them to show up their names in states and standing out the company name who is sponsoring for sports activities.
secondly , spending money on concerts is also really give crucial benefits for students who are unable to show up their talent due to financial crisis. To explain it ,many famlies who are not that much capable for paying their extra activites rather than tution fees and this can be benefit for them to get out for their dreams and show success.
To conclude , i think company should have to spend money in the manner that they should have to give the money to thr mamangers of the sports club and concert because make sure this money is only be benefit for those who are really want it . so i will look forward to your response as soon .
yours faithfully

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the three requested points: you describe opportunities and visibility for a sponsored team, mention that concerts could help people who cannot afford activities, and give a recommendation. However, the benefits of concerts are not clearly summarised, and the final recommendation is difficult to interpret: “give the money to the managers of the sports club and concert” does not clearly choose between the options or explain how the funds should be divided. The opening also refers to a decision already taken, although the company is asking for feedback on two alternatives. Develop each benefit more specifically and state one clear preference with a reason. The letter format and closing are present, but the purpose and position are only partly clear.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic letter structure, with separate paragraphs for the sports team, concerts and conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “to begin with,” “secondly” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of your response. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the long first paragraph and the conclusion, where several ideas are joined without clear relationships. The contrast between the two funding options is also not made explicit, and “so” does not clearly connect the recommendation to the preceding point. Use shorter, more focused sentences, and organise each paragraph around one main idea, supported by a clear explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “sponsoring,” “financial crisis,” “talent” and “well being,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “money,” “benefit” and “chance,” while several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear. For example, “plathora of opportunities” and “standing out the company name” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “activities” is also repeated. Spelling and word-form errors, including “descision,” “opportunitites” and “familes,” are noticeable. Build precision by learning common combinations such as “fund a team,” “raise the company’s profile” and “attend a concert.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the “not only … but also” construction and clauses beginning with “because.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, articles and punctuation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “spending money on concerts is also really give crucial benefits” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “company should have to spend” uses an unnecessary modal construction. Capitalisation is inconsistent, and several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them with one clear subordinate clause; check subject–verb agreement and verb patterns when editing.
