Student answer (Band 5.0)

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you for the amount of money you want to spend .Analyse the benefits of sponsoring the sports team and paying for the concerts. Then i will give you my opininon in that case.

Sponsoring a local children's sports teams for two years has a lots of benefits .first , you will get a money return in case of wining. if that teams win a cup or get to a first league . Also, youcan do a sponsoring to your company using this teams. the last but not least , you're going to save the hope of those children and their dreams .i think that the butter then all money spending .

In the case of paying for two open-air concerts. There 's a lots of peaple will attend it and that make all the money spending return in the end of the concert .In the end peaople really enjoy attending concert in fresh air .and that concert will be a great sponsor to you're company .

After reviewing both cases i find a great idea that makes you pay for both .what about paying for concert and make it as a charitbale for the sponsor to that sports team .People love charitble works so they will give money to help those children .If you look to that from that angle you can do both and i think that everyone would be happy

I took my idea in consideration.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both funding options and give a preference, so the main parts of the task are recognisable. You mention possible company promotion and support for children through sponsorship, and public attendance and enjoyment for the concerts. However, the benefits are often unclear or insufficiently explained: for example, “you will get a money return in case of wining” does not clearly show how sponsoring the team would generate a return. Your final proposal to fund a concert as a charity fundraiser is relevant, but it changes the choice rather than clearly recommending one of the two options and needs more explanation. The closing “I took my idea in consideration. A passanger” is also unsuitable for a formal letter. Develop each benefit and state your recommendation directly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has separate paragraphs for the opening, each funding option, and your final view, which gives it some basic organisation. However, progression is not consistently clear, and several linking expressions are inaccurate or repetitive. For instance, “first,” “the last but not least,” and “In the end” do not always connect the ideas logically; “In the end” is used where you appear to mean “also.” The opening promises an analysis and opinion, but the final paragraph introduces a new fundraising plan without clearly linking it to the earlier comparison. Some sentences run together, while full stops and spacing are inconsistent. Use one paragraph for each required point, connect ideas with precise transitions, and make the recommendation follow clearly from the comparison.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “sponsoring,” “open-air concerts,” “attend,” and “charitable,” so the reader can identify the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices, collocations, and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. “Money return,” “save the hope,” and “a great sponsor to your company” do not express the intended benefits naturally, while “peaple,” “wining,” and “charitbale” are misspelled. There is also repetition of “money,” “company,” and “children.” Aim for precise phrases such as “raise the company’s profile,” “provide young people with opportunities,” and “attract a large audience.” Check spelling and choose expressions that clearly describe the benefit you mean.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both short statements and longer sentences, but the range is limited and errors occur frequently, sometimes making relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “a local children's sports teams,” where the noun number does not agree, and “There 's a lots of peaple will attend it,” which combines incompatible sentence structures. In “if that teams win a cup or get to a first league,” the conditional clause is left incomplete, and “that make all the money spending return” has problems with agreement and sentence construction. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “.first” and “.and.” Practise complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check singular/plural agreement, articles, and punctuation before submitting.
