Student answer (Band 5.0)

Dear sir or Madam,

I hope you are doing well.

I listend that you want to spend some money to sponser local sports team or you want pay for concert. I think it is good idea if you sponser to sports team because masses can know the value of sports and they can take lot of benefits from sports and keep them helathy in this era. However, Individuals craze also enhance for sports and in upcoming year, you can keep competition of sports and increase you money which can be beneficial for your company.

Moreover, if you paying for concert, it can be beneficial for your company then many maltitudes come in your company and gain the knowledge about your company so, company's product demand will be increase and company can gain more profit in future.

According to me, company need to spend money on sports or concert because agency can incerese their profit in upcoming days and ehance their ability then eberyone can know the value of company.

Thank you for my feedback

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear preference for sponsoring the sports team, and you mention relevant benefits such as encouraging children to value sport and helping the company gain recognition. You also identify a possible benefit of the concerts: attracting people and increasing awareness of the company’s products. However, the task is only partly addressed because the benefits of each option are brief and not clearly explained, and your final recommendation becomes unclear when you say the company should spend on “sports or concert.” Develop the comparison and state one definite choice, supported by a specific reason. The letter also needs a more suitable closing and a clearer focus on feedback to the company.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic structure, with separate paragraphs for the sports team, concerts, and your conclusion. Linking expressions such as “However,” “Moreover,” and “According to me” help signal changes in focus. Nevertheless, the progression is not always clear: the conclusion repeats the idea of increasing profit but does not resolve your earlier preference for sports, and “because” introduces a reason that does not clearly support the choice between the options. Some sentences also contain several ideas joined together, making the relationships harder to follow. Organise the letter around the two options and then give a concise, consistent recommendation, using clearer links between each benefit and its effect.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “sponsor,” “competition,” “product demand,” and “profit,” so the reader can identify the main subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling or word-choice errors make parts of the letter difficult to understand, such as “listend,” “maltitudes,” and “craze.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “keep them healthy in this era” and “increase you money.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and use more precise terms for the benefits, such as community engagement, brand visibility, or promoting children’s health. Proofreading spelling and choosing words that fit the intended meaning would make your ideas clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional idea about future competitions and a sentence beginning “if you paying for concert.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, articles, agreement, and sentence construction can make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “if you paying” needs a complete conditional form, while “company need to spend” requires subject–verb agreement. The sentence about the company’s product demand also has an unclear verb construction. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then add subordinate clauses. Check articles and verb forms, especially after “if,” and use punctuation to separate complete ideas.
