Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address all three requested points and make your preference clear: you recommend sponsoring the children’s sports team. You give relevant benefits, including encouraging children to take part in sport, keeping them away from harmful activities, and displaying the company logo on team shirts. You also mention benefits of concerts, such as building confidence and connecting with attendees. However, these points are brief and sometimes unclear, and the concert benefits are less fully explained than the sports-team benefits. The opening says “I will writing a letter” and “i will sow the benefit,” which does not establish the purpose clearly. Develop each benefit with a specific explanation and close with a more direct, polished recommendation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a basic overall shape: an opening, a paragraph discussing the options, and a final recommendation. This helps the reader identify your main preference. However, the ideas do not progress smoothly. Sports-team and concert benefits are crowded into one long paragraph, and the shift to concerts is introduced only by “and there are much benefit,” making the relationship between points unclear. Repeated phrases such as “i hope” in the closing also weaken the flow. Use separate paragraphs for the two options, then a concise final paragraph stating your choice. Linking expressions such as “In addition,” “By contrast,” and “For these reasons” would make the progression clearer without repeating the same wording.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “sponsor,” “local children’s sports team,” “open-air concerts,” “logo,” and “stage confidence.” These choices show that you can communicate the main subject and intended benefits. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to follow: “play for two open-air concerts,” “far from rubbish activities,” and “number on in sport” are examples. There are also spelling errors such as “consents,” “helpfull,” and “sponser.” Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. For example, say “fund two open-air concerts,” “stay away from harmful activities,” and “achieve success in sport.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The letter attempts to express connected ideas, but sentence structures are mostly simple or joined with “and,” and errors occur frequently. Examples include “I will writing,” “its help,” and “your company name logo are printed,” where verb forms and agreement are not controlled. Articles and sentence boundaries are also problematic, as in “spend certain amount” and the long sequence beginning “It is very beneficial for sports team.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including lowercase “i” and the run-on presentation of several ideas. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled clauses: for example, “Sponsorship would help the team buy equipment, while also giving the company visibility through its logo on players’ shirts.”
