My name is Ashwani. I am writing this letter for feedback to a large company who has decided to spend a certain amount of money, either to sponsor a local children's sports team for two year or to pay for two open-air concerts. Firstly, benefits of sponsoring the sports team helps the children to improve their sports skill and show their talent at a state or national level by winning the games. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address all three requested points: you mention children developing sports skills and displaying talent, note that the public can enjoy free concerts, and clearly recommend supporting the team. However, these benefits are only briefly stated; for example, explain how sponsorship could provide coaching or equipment, and how concerts could bring the community together. The recommendation is present, but its support—“It helps them for their overall growth”—is general. The letter also contains 131 words, so it is 19 words below the required minimum; 27 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each point with relevant detail and meet the minimum to make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The letter follows a recognisable order, moving from the sports-team benefits to the concerts and then to your recommendation. “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Lastly” help signal these stages, and the opening and closing make the response identifiable as a letter. However, the ideas are compressed into one main paragraph, so the progression feels list-like rather than fully developed. Some links are also unclear: “These are some points which help the company to take the best decision” does not add a distinct point or connect smoothly to the recommendation. Use separate paragraphs for the two options and your conclusion, and connect each benefit to its effect with clearer, less formulaic transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “sponsor,” “local children’s sports team,” “open-air concerts,” and “overall growth.” The wording is generally understandable, but the range is limited and several choices are inaccurate or repetitive. For example, “sports skill” is less natural than “sporting skills,” while “paying for the concerts” could be expressed more precisely as “funding the concerts.” There are also spelling errors in “advantges” and “encouage,” which reduce accuracy. Build a wider set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling; more precise wording would help you explain the benefits without relying on general phrases such as “take part in sports.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Most of the response uses short, simple sentences, and the main message remains understandable. There is an attempt to use a longer structure in “I am writing this letter for feedback to a large company who has decided…,” but the construction is awkward and the relative pronoun does not fit naturally for a company. Other errors include “for two year” instead of “for two years,” and “benefits … helps,” where the plural subject requires “help.” The sentence about concerts also needs a clearer structure, such as “The general public will enjoy attending them, and admission would be free.” Practise accurate agreement, plurals, and sentence construction, then add a few controlled complex sentences.
