IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In many countries, people are now living longer than ever before. Some people say an aging population creates problems for governments. Other people think there are benefits if society has more elderly people.
To what extent do the advantages of having an aging population outweigh the disadvantages?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In significant proportation of the nation individuals live life longer then past where certain pupiles say aging citizens makes concern to goverments while some other hold a view elderly people gives facilities to the communities.
I strongly believe that the advantages outweight disadvantages. In this case where elderly citizens gives the foundation to upcoming youth.
On the one hand,In this societies elder people holdes a lot of knowledges with their experiances in the complete lifes.Additionally, aged members have a lot of memories,ideas,problem solving skills etc.Furthermore,Senior citizens aslo give the lot encouragements to the upcoming youths while based on their education their help the students to acquire the knowledge with all aspects and examples.For instance having the aged people in the nation help the youth to follow the correct path in the lifes and they also help them in the studies and other activities as well . Additionally old people are also having the abundunt amount of information on history and politics which help the society to choose the best leaders.
On the other hand, Aging people are sufferred with a lot of problems in the lifes based on the health and physical issues in there lifes which gives problem to the goverments for the LIC policies and the loan.Moreover older individuals have mainly secured in the goverment employments where after the retiarments they get a huge amount from the goverment.For example the goverments pay the money for the older people age after 60 and also the people who completed their services in the goverment jobs where the goverment used to pay their mediciens and hosiptals bills .
To sum up advantages having the outweight compared to the disadvantages where the elder pupiles must be given the respect where their have significant number of information about the tribes which facilitates the upcoming youth.
