Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, in increasing number of people are living long life than ever before because of their healthy diet.some individuals argued that aging population gnerates issues for governments ehile other people believe that there are advantages if society has more arising individuals.
xOne significant reason, why I support having more elder people is that elder people has huge amount of knowledge and Information thy can provide to younger people.because ageing individuals has experienced a lot in their life .it can benefits the society they can guide a people who has not experienced or don't know about much things in our life. People can get help if there is any tradition problem in society
For example,if a person do not know how to handle the family problem the might get help from older people.
It also have some drawbacks, if elder people live longer and increase the population the government may have to invest huge amount of their budgets on them to fulfil their basic need.govement also need to take a lot of Care for them.for instance government have to spend a huge money for elder people people insted of spending for development of country.as a result government may not have a money for other people and for future generations.
In conclusions, although people who live longer life now has creates people for governments I believe that having them in a society has a lot of advantages because people can get many knowledge and skills from them which is very beneficial for tir future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of an aging population and takes a clear position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. For example, the advantage is framed purely around elders having 'knowledge and information' without deeper elaboration, and the examples provided, such as 'how to handle the family problem,' are underdeveloped. Furthermore, there are typos in the prompt's paraphrase like 'arising individuals' instead of 'aging individuals'. While all parts of the task are addressed, the depth of support places this performance in the Band 5 category.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Paragraphing is attempted, but formatting issues like the stray 'x' at the beginning of the second paragraph disrupt the structural flow. Cohesive devices are minimal, repetitive, or inaccurate, with frequent reliance on basic linkers or run-on structures. There is a lack of effective referencing and logical progression between sentences. For instance, sentences like 'For example,if a person do not know how to handle the family problem the might get help from older people' lack smooth transitions from the preceding text. The overall progression is somewhat disjointed, fitting the characteristics of Band 5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently impeded by spelling errors and poor word choice, such as 'long life' instead of 'longer lives', 'gnerates' instead of 'generates', 'ehile' instead of 'while', and 'tir' instead of 'their'. Less common lexical items are rarely attempted successfully, and collocations are often unnatural, such as 'tradition problem' or 'spend a huge money'. These noticeable lexical errors and limitations place the response firmly at Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 for minimally adequate communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The writing exhibits a very limited range of grammatical structures, consisting mostly of simple and attempted complex sentences that contain frequent errors. Punctuation and capitalization are poorly controlled, with numerous missing spaces after commas and periods (e.g., 'diet.some', 'gnerates issues...ehile'). Subject-verb agreement errors are common, such as 'elder people has' and 'ageing individuals has'. Furthermore, run-on sentences and fragments obscure meaning in places. Due to the high frequency of grammatical and punctuation errors that cause difficulty for the reader, a band score of 4.0 is appropriate.
