Student answer (Band 5.0)
In most regions of the world, Some people argue that an ageing population creates challanges for governments, while others believe that it can bring several advantages in society.
In different countries different type of peoples some of are now living longer then past. Some of them say an aging population will creates challenges for governmets.while other believes it may have positive impact on our society.
When a country or region have aging peoples or population it may have both advantages or disadvantages first lets know about the circumstances and consequences of old age population. when any of country have more old peoples economy will start collapsing and going down older peoples cant do hardwork or protect your countries at the borders they instead need care and rest goverment will face and bear their medical expenses and bills it will be challenging.
On the other hand the people with experience can guide their youngsters or youth to avoid or prevent mistakes to learn about things and gain skills with full of confidence Like japan they have old aging population but its a developed country and more peace so it can be a reason why some people believe it can bring good advantages to our society.
Accrding to my experience having aging people will not affect or make any challenges for our government as the increase in population in our regions. and there is a reason of not living long is our todays lifestyle and diet food is not healthier then before so i belives we generation will not live long our living period becoming shorter instead of long because the disease rised with great number of peoples having like diabetes etc

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both sides of the topic, mentioning government costs and the value of older people’s experience, and you give a personal view near the end. However, the response only partially answers the key question of whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages: the conclusion says ageing will not create challenges, but does not clearly compare the two sides or explain why one outweighs the other. The claim that older people cannot do hard work and that the economy will collapse is broad and not supported with a specific explanation. The Japan example is relevant, but the link between its development, peace and an older population is asserted rather than demonstrated. State your position clearly and support each main point with a reason or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is an attempt to organise the response into an introduction, a paragraph about disadvantages, a paragraph about advantages and a concluding personal view. Transitions such as “On the other hand” help signal a change in direction. However, the opening repeats the same general idea in two paragraphs, and the progression between points is difficult to follow, particularly in the final paragraph, which shifts from ageing to lifestyle and disease without clearly connecting these ideas to the comparison in the question. Several sentences run together, and punctuation makes the relationships between ideas unclear. Give each paragraph one clear purpose, remove the repeated introduction, and use linking phrases to show cause, contrast and conclusion accurately.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “aging population,” “medical expenses,” “experience,” and “youngsters,” so the reader can identify the subject and main ideas. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “at the borders” and “living period.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the meaning less clear, including “challanges,” “governmets,” “hardwork,” and “disease rised.” Some phrases are unnatural, such as “full of confidence” in this context and “more peace” to describe Japan. Build a more accurate set of expressions for discussing pensions, healthcare, the workforce and intergenerational support, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to express cause, contrast and longer explanations, for example with “When a country or region have…” and “On the other hand…,” but control of sentence structure is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms and agreement occur frequently: “will creates,” “other believes,” and “a country…have” should use correctly matched forms. Articles, plurals and tense are also often inaccurate, as in “an aging peoples” and “then past.” Several sentences are joined without appropriate punctuation, making it hard to see where one idea ends and another begins. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clauses such as “because” and “although”; check subject–verb agreement, verb forms and sentence boundaries.
