Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is obvious that we are living in a technological era and childern are spending most of time while using mobile phones and playing video games. So, many people have believed that parents should encourage their childern to become part of physcial activities and organisied competions. On the other side, many people prefer that childern should be free to take any decison how to use their free time which will bring significant change intheir daily routein.
We all know that technology has changed the way we live and childern use their free time in watching movies and playing video games at home. They have least interest in sport activities getting more involved in it and becoming victim of stress , obesity and isolation. However, only parents can teach better to kids how to be good at life. For that parents should encourage kids to take part in physcial activies, guiding how to organise and manage free time. Specially, parents should send thier kids in group activies related to personal growth and management. Due to childern will learn the real value of time and help them to be good in personal and professional life.
Therefore, parents may play a significant role in childern growth but also making decison by their own bring more creativity and puncutality in young generation. Nowadays childern have access to everything. Through internet they can get unlimited knowledge , make friends from others countries to make their communiction better and also have the opportuinity to become independent.
In my ipinionl, making own decision bring creativity and concuoisness in life. So , they can make any possibility if anything happens to them.
In conclusion, parents play a fundamental role in childern life and encourage them how to manage things in life and what they can face if they do not follow the curicial rules about life. Because time is balanced for everyone and it depends on us how and where we use it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and state a preference for children making their own decisions, while also recognising parents’ role. The discussion of organised activities includes relevant points about exercise, stress and social development. However, the two positions are not explored evenly: the benefits of independent time are listed—such as creativity and making friends online—but are not explained with a clear example or developed reasoning. Your position also shifts: you favour children deciding for themselves, yet the conclusion mainly emphasises parental guidance and rules. To strengthen the response, explain how children can benefit from both approaches and make your own view consistent from the introduction through the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, separate discussion paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. Some progression is also visible, moving from concerns about screen use to organised activities and then independence. However, the overall line of argument is difficult to follow because ideas are sometimes joined without a clear relationship. For example, the paragraph beginning “Therefore” moves from parental influence to internet access and international friendships without explaining the connection. Linking phrases such as “However,” “Therefore” and “In conclusion” are used, but they do not always clarify the logic, and the conclusion introduces a different emphasis. Organise each paragraph around one main view and use clear references and transitions to show how each point supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “organised competitions,” “personal growth,” “independent” and “creativity.” These choices show an effort to discuss development and free-time activities rather than relying entirely on basic terms. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the message harder to understand, such as “childern,” “physcial,” “puncutality” and “concuoisness.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “victim of stress” and “make any possibility.” Aim to learn accurate topic vocabulary and common collocations, then check spelling carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain the benefits of group activities and independent time clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some longer sentence forms and attempt to connect ideas with clauses, for example, “However, only parents can teach better to kids how to be good at life.” Nevertheless, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make several sentences difficult to interpret. In “Due to children will learn the real value of time,” the clause after “due to” is not formed correctly; “Therefore, parents may play … but also making decision” also lacks a parallel structure. There are recurring problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as well as punctuation spacing. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled structures such as “because,” “although” and “which.” Proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
