Student answer (Band 6.0)
Few human being believe that parents must motivate their children to enroll in collective activities in their leisure time. Other claim that children learn things by themselves. I think that group activities are more beneficial for child and in upcoming paragraph i would like to discuss both the views.
To begin with, there are several advantage of group activity but most profound is young child can learn different things from each others because every kids has different ability and ideas. Moreover by doing any activity in group they can understand teamwork as well as they become more confidant as they put their ideas to other member. Furthermore, in group all member have their own roll and responsibility which means they have to divide work equally due to these our teenager get the opportunity to learn different things. Group activity is more enjoyable than working alone, in a group everybody have fun because of others company.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which limits the depth of the discussion. While the arguments for group activities are relevant, the counter-argument regarding independent play is underdeveloped and lacks specific examples or logical extension. The conclusion is also very brief and does not effectively summarize the main points. To improve, you must expand on your ideas with more detailed explanations and concrete examples to meet the word count and provide a more comprehensive discussion of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive (e.g., 'To begin with', 'Moreover', 'Furthermore'). There are also issues with logical progression; the transition between the benefits of group work and the counter-argument is abrupt. Additionally, some sentences are poorly connected, making the flow feel disjointed. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects logically to the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors and spelling mistakes, such as 'confidant' (should be 'confident'), 'dafinatly' (definitely), and 'roll' (role). The repetition of basic terms like 'things' and 'activity' limits the sophistication of your writing. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more precise vocabulary related to child development and social interaction, and pay closer attention to spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'every kids has' (every kid has) and 'in upcoming paragraph i would like' (in the upcoming paragraph, I would like). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are inconsistent throughout the text. The punctuation is also occasionally inaccurate, particularly with capitalization. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency before attempting more complex structures.
