Student answer (Band 6.0)
Few individual narrates that parents should motivate their children to get involved into some group activities during their spare time while, other claims that it is vital for youngster to engage into themselves. Both the views and my opinion has been talked about below.
Firstly, being involved in group activities will help children to get more active and help learning good team work along with that will also be useful in personality development and getting to know more individuals. Secondly, Group activities play a vital role in bring up the confidence among children. It will also teach youth how to tackle people with different mind sets as it is also difficult to work with more people with dissimilar opinions.
On the other hand, occupying within themselves is beneficial sometimes as every individual needs personal time. It will encourage child to do things on it's own without any help. Moreover, it will increase ability to brainstorm and make mind more stronger as it will teach not to depend on anyone. For example, One day I had to perform a task by my own I found it very peaceful as there were not other opinion to consider.
Though, both the views has strong opinion my belief would incline towards taking involvement in group activities as it would give real life experience to the child as growing up, a person has to work within group most of the time. According to me, it gets difficult to work in group if you have never experienced the group work before because functioning with distinct pupil is itself a task.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention benefits like 'personality development' and 'confidence', these points are not fully extended with specific examples or deeper analysis. The example provided for the second view ('One day I had to perform a task by my own') is personal but lacks the depth required for a higher band. To improve, ensure that each main point is supported by a clear explanation or a more detailed illustration to demonstrate a more thorough exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'On the other hand' to signal transitions. However, some of the linking is mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'Though, both the views has strong opinion'. The use of referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronouns like 'it' referring back to complex ideas. Improving the variety of cohesive devices and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some relevant topic-specific terms like 'personality development', 'brainstorm', and 'real life experience'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'get involved into' (should be 'in'), 'bring up the confidence' (should be 'build' or 'boost'), and 'distinct pupil' (should be 'diverse individuals'). To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding repetitive or slightly unnatural phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('both the views has'), incorrect preposition usage ('engage into themselves'), and awkward phrasing ('make mind more stronger'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are errors in article usage and word forms. To improve, focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and refining the use of prepositions, as these persistent errors prevent the essay from reaching a higher band score.
