Student answer (Band 5.0)
it is argued by few individuals that parents should encourage their children work and play different types of activties in groupothers say they should do their own way. in my opinion both are true in their own side , i will discuss both views and will give my opinion in upcoming paragraphs.
on the one side, parents should encourage their children for ding work and activities in group , because they can easily enchance their social contact with other children , which are fruitful for them they can easily learn various games with each other . therefore they can make their bright future
on the other side , children should do different types work in their own way nowdays compettion is increasing day by day others learnes dont like each other for becoming success and that is why parents should teach their children their own way the shoud give good and bad things to their children. Thus, they can easily give best in their study and games with themselves
In my opinion children should work in group which is benifical for bright future because they can increase their social contact as well as learn other languages.
In conclusion, children should work and work in their own way because in future time they will every work with themselves ,if they work own which is good pratice for children.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both views and provides an opinion, but the development of ideas is very limited and often unclear. The arguments for group activities and independent play are repetitive and lack specific examples or logical depth. Furthermore, the essay fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the ability to fully develop the response. The conclusion contradicts the opinion stated in the introduction, leading to a lack of a clear, consistent position throughout the essay. To improve, you must expand on your points with relevant examples and ensure your conclusion aligns with your stated stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is disjointed. While there are some basic cohesive devices used, such as 'on the one side' and 'in conclusion', they are often used incorrectly or in a repetitive manner. The progression of ideas is not always logical, particularly in the transition between the body paragraphs and the final conclusion. The lack of clear linking words between sentences makes the text feel like a series of isolated statements rather than a cohesive argument. Improving the use of transition signals and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would greatly enhance the structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, which limits the ability to convey complex ideas. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'enchance their social contact' and 'learnes dont like each other for becoming success'. These errors, combined with frequent spelling mistakes like 'compettion', 'benifical', and 'pratice', indicate a limited range of vocabulary. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise terminology related to child development and social skills, and pay closer attention to spelling and collocations to ensure your meaning is communicated accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues with subject-verb agreement, missing articles, and incorrect word order are common, such as 'it is argued by few individuals that parents should encourage their children work'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with many sentences lacking proper capitalization or containing unnecessary spaces before commas. The lack of complex sentence structures prevents the demonstration of a wider grammatical range. Focusing on sentence variety and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy would be a significant step forward.
