Student answer (Band 6.0)
In all around the globe, there our many people who think that they should teach their children to take part in any group activities in their free time, while other society believe that children should learn themselves to occupy in their own work is more important. this essay will discuss the both plot with relevant example followed by my point of view.
This is the good think to give knowledge and encourage their kids to participate in group activities in their mean time. There are several reasons to follow this trend. one of the major advantage is that children get chance to explore other activities and show their interests by participating any particular activity. Additionally, children can increase their physical strength by doing such group activities. Furthermore, they can connect with other children and discuss their opinion and get knowledge. For Example, children should take a part in health awareness sessions or in local cleanup campaigns in their free time. As a result their mind be more active and their physical strength will be also increased.
However, other people in society believe that it is very important for children to learn how to maintain their own work and how to make themselves busy in their own way. I strongly believe that this is the positive development for kids to learn to make them occupy with their own work. there are several benefits of this trends. Firstly they become independent and learn to do their own work. Another point is that become more responsible and learned how to take all responsibility to do their work by own and do not give burden on family. Additionally they can able to prepare work schedule by own and adjust other activities accordingly.
In my opinion, I strongly believe that children should learn how to make themselves busy in their own life and adjust their other work accordingly. As they get get many benefits by following this trend. they can be more responsible, active and become a independent in later life.
In conclusion, number of people say that parent should teach their kids to take a part in organised group activities, and sports. while other society member believe that children should learn these things and make themselves busy in their own way. Therefore, I strongly agree and think that children should learn things by their own so they become more responsible and active later in life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive. For instance, the benefits of independent play are mentioned in the third paragraph and then restated in the fourth. While the prompt is addressed, the supporting examples, such as 'health awareness sessions', are a bit generic and could be more deeply explored to reach a higher band. The position is consistent throughout, but the depth of analysis is limited by the repetitive nature of the arguments presented.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Additionally', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion', though some are used mechanically or incorrectly (e.g., 'In all around the globe'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is slightly abrupt. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the use of 'this' to refer to broad concepts, which occasionally makes the flow feel a bit disjointed. Overall, the structure is sufficient to follow the writer's argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There is frequent repetition of basic phrases like 'do their own work', 'make themselves busy', and 'take a part'. Some word choices are unnatural, such as 'other society believe' instead of 'others believe' or 'this is the good think' instead of 'this is a good thing'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there are noticeable errors in collocation and word formation that prevent a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'there our many people', 'other society believe'), article usage (e.g., 'in all around the globe'), and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'they can able to prepare'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing capital letters at the start of sentences. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be distracting and indicate a lack of control over complex structures.
