Student answer (Band 5.0)
Few individuals in favor of parents should motivate their younger one to take part in different activities in their free time. while others argue, it is useful for young peole if they perform their task by their own.this essay will discuss about both view because i firmly believe both are equaly important.
On the one hand, the main reason behind this is children become active, because when parents guide to their kids for the participation in different kind of game in their leisure time.due to this children get more aware, stronge, and metally fit in studies. For instance, children will more efficient with participation in different activities rather than who donot take participate in activities.Consequently, children perform smartly all kind of task in their life if they are physically and mentally active in different activities.
On the other hand, many people argue it is more important, if we free children by their own. Because with the independence thought youngster feel relax and they perform extra ondindary in all field. show their interest toward all task. For example, when children will free and more relax they can achieve their taks happily than who are following all activities by their parents. Therefore, Children can perform extra ordinary performance when they will free in their all decision.
In conslusion, although some parents guide their children in different activities. while some free them in decision like participate in different activities.I believe both have its own importance but if parents will guide them about the activites that will be more effect because they have life experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on children's activities and providing a personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the ideas are somewhat repetitive and lack deep development, which is characteristic of a Band 6. For instance, the argument that children become active through parental guidance is stated, but the supporting examples are circular and vague, such as 'children will more efficient with participation in different activities rather than who donot take participate'. The writer takes a clear position by stating that both views are important and ultimately leaning towards parental guidance due to life experience, which satisfies the requirements for task response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at logical structure with standard signposting phrases like 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, overall coherence is frequently disrupted by mechanical and faulty cohesive devices, referencing errors, and punctuation issues. For example, sentences often run together without proper transitions, and pronouns like 'they' lack clear antecedents ('youngster feel relax and they perform extra ondindary'). Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is weak, leading to a choppy reading experience that fits the Band 5 profile.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple terms like 'children', 'activities', 'different', and 'free time'. There are noticeable word choice and collocation errors, such as 'younger one' instead of 'youngsters' or 'children', 'stronge' (spelling error for strong), 'metally' (mentally), and 'extra ondindary' (extraordinary). The student attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'participation', 'independence thought', and 'experience', but inaccuracies in spelling and form occur throughout the text. These errors occasionally cause strain for the reader, placing the response securely at Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay demonstrates a limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and faulty attempts at complex clauses. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including missing prepositions, incorrect verb forms ('when children will free', 'parents guide to their kids'), and severe punctuation and capitalisation lapses (e.g., lowercase letters at the beginning of sentences like 'this essay will discuss'). While the meaning can mostly be deciphered, the high frequency of errors across simple and complex structures causes frequent difficulty for the reader, aligning with the Band 5 descriptor.
