Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is debatable issue, whether young people should involve in group activites or not. Some individuals believe that it is the guardians onus to motivate their young one's to spend their spare time in group of people, however others believe it would be beneficial if they do any activitiy alone. This essay will discuss both views before presenting my opinion.
On the one hand, the most significant reason to involve in teams work is that children patience. Nowadays, it is common to notice that people have less pateince but when they will start to do their work in group they can learn how to be patient for their turn. For example, playing Luddo in bunch of people make the individuals calm and learn them to wait for their turn. Moreover, juveniles are not that much intelligent to lead the team but within practice in teams they can acquire leadership skill and in this way they can boost their confidence skill as well.
On the other hand, learning new thing in alone is more meaningful then in group. A s a reason,it helps kids to be more concentrate on their work and avoid less chance of distractions. For instance, History is a subject which can learn by own strategy, so if children learn this subject alone then they can understand it better.whilist, individual activity incluate them to manage their time as there is no one who can tell them how to schedule their work.
In my opinion, doing group-based activity is more beneficial because they can improve their problem solving skill while discussing issues about different thing such as games'rules, weather or any current affairs.
In conculsion, although self-directed activity can teach them time management or improve concentration but group activity is more prominent for them to learn real life based skills.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—organised group activities and solo pastimes—and presents a clear personal opinion in the third and concluding paragraphs. Ideas are generally relevant, such as mentioning patience, leadership, and time management. However, some arguments lack full development and suffer from linguistic formulation issues. For instance, the point about children learning patience is illustrated with playing 'Luddo', but the explanation remains slightly simplistic. Additionally, the reasoning regarding history being learned through one's own strategy is underdeveloped. Nevertheless, a clear position is maintained throughout, placing the response solidly within the Band 6 descriptor range where all parts of the task are addressed, even if some ideas are under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph-by-paragraph structure, including an introduction, two body paragraphs discussing opposing views, a personal opinion paragraph, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used to signal transitions, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', 'In my opinion', and 'In conclusion'. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, the sentence 'A s a reason,it helps kids...' contains punctuation errors and unnatural cohesive framing. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate ideas, but logical progression within paragraphs occasionally stumbles due to awkward phrasing and grammatical slips, making this a clear Band 6 performance.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student attempts a range of vocabulary appropriate for the task, including terms like 'guardians onus', 'leadership skill', and 'time management'. However, there are numerous word choice, collocation, and spelling errors throughout the essay. Examples of errors include 'debatable issue' (minor collocation slip), 'activitiy', 'pateince', 'whilist', 'incluate', and 'conculsion'. The writer attempts less common vocabulary such as 'prominent' and 'self-directed', but inaccuracies in spelling and formation are frequent enough to impede smooth reading at times. The lexical range is adequate for the task, but errors in spelling and word formation keep the score at Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors in almost every sentence that affect clarity and accuracy. Examples include subject-verb agreement and article issues ('It is debatable issue', 'whether young people should involve in group activites', 'children patience', 'History is a subject which can learn by own strategy'). Furthermore, punctuation is frequently mishandled, such as missing spaces after commas and periods ('A s a reason,it helps...'). While complex structures are attempted, they are often faulty, placing the grammar performance firmly at Band 5.0.
