Student answer (Band 7.5)

People hold diffrent opinions regarding how children Must to spend their free time. While some argue that learning to occupy themselves independently Cultivates Independence, others believe that organized group activities are far more beneficial. In my opinion, although Individual play has clear developmental Strengths, structured group tasks are ultimately superior because they cultivate the essential social Capabilities required in the modern world.

On the one hand, allowing children to entertain themselves fosters creativity and imagination. When left to their own devices, young minds are forced to innovate to overcome Inactivity, which often sparks artistic hobbies, reading, or independent problem-solving. Furthermore, this absolute Self-determination builds early self-sufficiency, ensuring that individuals do not grow up constantly relying on external entertainment or parental supervision to remain content.

On the other hand, I strongly believe that organized group activities offer far more Substantial advantages for a child’s long-term future. Joining sports clubs, musical bands, exposes children to diverse Colleagues and teaches them how to cooperate toward a shared goal. Through these structured settings, they absorb critical life lessons in diplomacy, empathy, and healthy competition. For example, children playing competitive team sports learn to manage defeat gracefully, building emotional resilience that Introverted activities simply cannot Duplicate.

In conclusion, while encouraging children to occupy themselves independently can successfully personal independence and creative thinking, it should not replace collective experiences. I firmly believe that the vital social skills, team discipline, and cooperative spirit gained from organized group activities provide a significantly more Solid foundation for a child success in an interconnected society.
