Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You introduce both positions and give a relevant reason for group activities, including communication and teamwork. However, the response only partially addresses the task: the case for independent activities is reduced to one brief point about pursuing a personal passion, with no example or explanation. Your own opinion begins with “I personally believe,” but the sentence is cut off, so your position and conclusion are not established. The reference to a survey is also not explained or connected to a specific example. The response is 56 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to develop the discussion. To improve, explain the benefits of both options, state your view clearly, and support each main idea with a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting group activities, a contrasting paragraph, and the start of a personal view. Signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “On the contrary” help readers identify the intended direction. However, progression is limited because the independent-activity paragraph is very short, and the final paragraph ends mid-sentence. Some connections are awkward: “Which will eventually lead to be better decision maker” is separated from the preceding idea and does not form a complete sentence. The introduction also promises a conclusion that never appears. Develop each paragraph around a complete main idea, use clear links between explanation and example, and finish with a concise conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “communication skill,” “teamwork ability,” “passion,” and “brain development,” so the reader can identify the main subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “eassya,” “activites,” “comunicating,” and “cghildren.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “being in own” and “polyethenic society.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than adding complex-sounding phrases. Proofread spelling carefully and choose vocabulary that expresses your meaning precisely; for example, explain what kind of society you mean instead of using an unclear term.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause with “as” and a relative clause beginning “children who take part.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “Some people thinks,” “children must spent,” and “children who has involved,” which show problems with agreement and verb forms. The sentence beginning “Which will eventually lead” is a fragment, while the final sentence is incomplete. Pronouns also shift between “children,” “he/she,” and “they,” reducing clarity. Practise subject–verb agreement, verb patterns after modal verbs, and complete sentence construction. Then check that each sentence has a clear subject and finite verb.
