Dear Sir,

It has come to our view that we are receiving a numerous complaints about our reception area. We have to take a strict action to fix this issue and create a better impression among our visitors.

Firstly, our reception area is not well organized which make a mess for our clients. Moreover, their is no proper ventilation in that particular area, resulting in suffocation.

The visitor area is very much crucial for our reputation and image of the comapany.Additionally, this particular area should create a environment which make an individual relaxed and calm.Resulting in profiable business of an enterprises indirectly.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses all three bullet points: describing complaints, explaining the importance of the area, and suggesting improvements. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited, and the response falls slightly short of the 150-word minimum requirement. The tone is generally appropriate for a letter to a manager, though the opening 'It has come to our view' is slightly unnatural. To improve, you should expand on your suggestions with more detail and ensure you meet the minimum word count to avoid a penalty.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'Additionally'. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and punctuation errors, such as the missing space after the comma in 'clients.Moreover,their'. The use of referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between ideas could be smoother. Improving your control over punctuation and using a wider variety of linking words would help elevate your score in this criterion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'comapany', 'maganizes', and 'profiable'. Phrases like 'take a strict action' and 'receiving a numerous complaints' are slightly unnatural. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'ventilation' and 'layout', the overall range is limited. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and proofreading for basic spelling errors, which currently detract from the professional tone of the letter.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The letter contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'which make a mess' (subject-verb agreement), 'their is no' (confusing 'their' with 'there'), and 'to organized a effective layout' (incorrect verb form and article usage). These errors are noticeable and occasionally impede the clarity of your message. You should focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement, article usage, and ensuring that your verb forms are consistent throughout your writing.
