Dear Mr. Rishab,
I hope you are doing great. I am writing in a response to your request to suggest some solutions for the improvement of the reception area.
Over the past few months, several complaints has been received regarding reception area. One of main complains is about inadequate and unclear signage to direct costumer to their particular location. It creates confusion and uncertain delays. Moreover, some people complain about having few servers at line during peak time. Because they have to wait in queue for longer-time.
Since reception is first vision spot of our company, It must be attractive and supportive. This area plays an essential role in creating social image and reputation of our company among public. therefore, to grow effectively.
I would like to suggest a few of resolutions that can help in improvement of the area. Firstly, a clear signage should be installed to help costumers to move around comfortably. In addition, during peak time all service counter should in working to answer individuals' inquires.
Thank you for considering my opinion over this issue as a part of team. I hope these comments might help.
Yours Sincerely,
Rahul

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all three bullet points of the prompt. You clearly describe the complaints regarding signage and staffing, explain the importance of the reception area as the company's 'first vision spot', and provide actionable suggestions. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the explanation of why the area is important is brief and ends abruptly with an incomplete sentence ('therefore, to grow effectively'). To reach a higher band, ensure that all points are fully developed with more detailed explanations and that your sentences are complete. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter to a manager.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The letter follows a logical structure with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Since', and 'Firstly' to link ideas. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by minor errors in referencing and sentence structure. For instance, the transition 'therefore, to grow effectively' is disconnected from the previous thought. Paragraphing is present, but the logical progression within the second paragraph could be smoother. To improve, focus on ensuring that each sentence flows naturally into the next and that your cohesive devices are used to connect complete, well-formed ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'inadequate', 'reputation', and 'inquiries'. There are some instances of awkward word choice or minor errors, such as 'first vision spot' (instead of 'first point of contact' or 'first impression') and 'few servers at line' (instead of 'staff at the desk'). Spelling is generally accurate, but some collocations are unnatural. To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more precise professional vocabulary and ensure that your word choices are idiomatic and contextually appropriate for a business environment.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement ('several complaints has been received') and missing articles ('at line', 'to direct costumer'). There are also some punctuation and structural issues, such as the sentence fragment 'therefore, to grow effectively.' While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher band score. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb.
