Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you identify complaints about insufficient information, miscommunication, limited space, staffing and accessibility; explain that reception creates an impression of the company; and propose relocation, more space and bilingual staff. These are relevant suggestions, and the purpose of the letter is clear. However, some points are only briefly stated or unclear. For example, “Reception area have access to all companies manager” does not clearly explain how managers would be available to help visitors, and the reason reception matters could be developed by linking it to visitors’ first impressions or their ability to find the right information. Clarifying the complaints and explaining how each proposed change would address them would make the response more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a generally understandable progression: it introduces the purpose, lists the complaints, explains the importance of reception, and then offers solutions. Linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “If you could” help signal relationships between ideas. However, the organisation is sometimes compressed, with several different points placed together in the same paragraph, and some connections are not fully clear. For instance, the brochure and company location details appear before the complaints without explaining how they relate to the problem. The final suggestion about managers also feels disconnected from the preceding sentence. Use clearer paragraphing for the complaints, importance and recommendations, and make the links between each problem and its solution explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “miscommunication,” “accessible,” “impression,” and “bilanguage skills,” and the reader can generally understand the issues and recommendations. There are also attempts to use more formal expressions, such as “I am writing this letter” and “prompt reply.” However, several word choices or forms are inaccurate or unnatural, including “give you suggestion,” “company broucher,” “little space available,” and “bilanguage skills.” “Reception area is reflection” also needs a more natural expression. These slips reduce precision, although the main message remains understandable. Aim for accurate collocations and standard spelling, such as “make a suggestion,” “company brochure,” “limited space,” and “bilingual staff.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer structures, including “If you could change the location of reception area meanwhile extend its working area.” The main ideas are usually recoverable, but grammatical control is uneven, and errors in agreement, articles and sentence construction sometimes make the message difficult to follow. Examples include “It always leave good impression,” “Reception area have access,” and the incomplete conditional beginning “If you could change…”. The opening also needs clearer sentence boundaries: “I am writing this letter to give you suggestion regarding reception area .All visitors…” Practise complete conditional sentences and check subject–verb agreement and articles—for example, “The reception area leaves a good impression” and “If you relocated the reception area and expanded it, visitors would find it more convenient.”
