IELTS Writing Task 1 question

During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Jones,

I hope you are doing well. I writing to bring your attention to possible job in one of your restaurants as we discussed while heading towards Germany in flight last week. I had my seat next to you I hope you remember.

As I just got my Food Handler Certificate two days ago and also I was also looking for Food Handler job since last 3 months, but all the business owners were asking for the certificate now as I got licensed I pray I will get job quickly.

Apart from this I have an experience of about more than 2 years in the same profession at my friend's restaurant, As it was in the outskirts of the province they doesn't require certificate. But now I am looking for my career growth I want to migrate to a metro city where I get paid more.

Thank you for informing me about this job at your one of your restaurants. I hope to hear positive back from you.
