IELTS Writing Task 1 question

During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Mathew,

I hope you are doing well. Myself Parminder may be you still remember me if you are than I appreciate it however, if not than it's totally fine because I know its difficult sometimes to remember strangers. Coming to the main point, we met last Sunday in the flight which was going to Vancouver from Toronto as well as, I was sitting next to you in the flight.

Besides this, I vividly remember that you told me about your business and you gave me a offer to contact you regarding job. Therefore, I am writing this letter to you. I am glad to inform you that I am interested for sales associate position in your well known restaurant named "Chaiwala" in Surrey.

If I talk about why I am suitable for this than I just want to say that I have 3 years experience in sales industry especially in restaurants along with this, I have great customer service experience to. Thus, I find myself suitable for this job.

I will wait for your response and for discussing furthermore about the job.
