During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to remind you about the discussion that we had when we were traveling.

Firstly, my name is Sweta Maisuriya, and in Canada I am an international student, as I earlier mentioned that we met on a flight to Canada from London, which was Air India 547, and my seat was 14, and you sat just next to me, seat no. 15.

Moreover, in that plane we discuss the job scenario in Canada, so I am looking forward to any position in your restaurants because currently I am looking for part-time work. If you allow it, I would send my resume to you.

Lastly, I am suitable for this job because I love to work in restaurants and also like to do cooking, and I am also a hardworking person who learns everything.

I would appreciate it if you selected me for the job, and I am eagerly waiting for your response.
