During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Sir,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Archana Shukla. I am a Chef and I am writing this letter to remind you about our meeting in flight a couple of weeks back from Mumbai to Delhi, on Monday. It was a Indigo airways and we were seating next to each other on the plane.

During the flight we had a great conversation related to your business and visionary projects regarding the food chain of your current business. Consequently, I mentioned about my keen interest in the domain and experience of more than a decade of working as a senior chef into few restaurants. You also shared your contact details while deplaning.

However, I was fascinated by the concept and ideas of opening multi-cuisine restaurant. Therefore I would like to apply for the position of master chef. I believe with years of experience it is an uphill task for the competitors to present flavourful dishes and meticulous details when it comes to cooking. I can come for 15 days trail and later you can make the final call.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I would be waiting to hear it from you.
