During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Respected Sir,

I hope I am not bothering you. I am writing to express an interest to acquire work in one of restaurants.

I am the one who was sitting right besides you in a flight journey from the Mumbai to Dubai on Last weekend. As we had a conversation about the restaurants which are owned by you in Dubai. Especially, you mentioned to reach out to you regarding the opening for job vacancy.

Henceforth, I am excited to cater myself being a chef in one of your locations. The major reason behind showing this interest is I have already been employed in food industry as a cook since 2005 from Cafes to five-star exclusive kitchens like the Taj and the oberoi in India. Now, I want to experience at international level thus I would like to commence my new journey from being employed in your restaurant.

I hope you show trust in me and I will be offered to work for you.
