During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Mr. Sidhu

I am Rupinder we met in a plane last Sunday when we both flew from Vancouver to Toronto that time we discussed about our professional life's. You not only told me about your restaurant business but also offer me an opportunity to join your business and I asked you to give me some time to think about it.

Now I am interested in joining your company as a supervisor as I told you I already working in a restaurant in Vancouver but now I am moving to Toronto for some personal reasons.

I have two years experience in hospitality industry so, I think I will be a good candidate for the recent open job of food service supervisor in one of your new restaurant opening soon in Toronto. Moreover, I have certification in food serve safe level 2 that is good match with your requirements of this role.

Thank you for your earlier offer, looking for your reply.
