IELTS Writing Task 1 question

During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Mr. Sam,

I am writing this letter to contact you regarding any vacant job position.

On August 30, we were sitting next to each other in the Air Canada flight heading to India. I was talking with you that i recently got terminated from my job due to some reasons. You suggest me to reached out to you after a week about a possible job in restaurants.

Past few months, I completed my administration diploma which interests me more for having a job in that field. I have Microsoft 365 certifications have would help me in administrative tasks.

I am confident in applying my academic skills in real world workplace. I had worked for CMHA Calgary form several months in HR department. I bring great enthusiasm and work in fast pace environment. Additionally, I want to learn the administration tasks in chain of restaurants who everything works because i never have worked in food sector.

I have attached my resume. Looking forward for hearing back from you.
