IELTS Writing Task 1 question

During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Mr. Rogers,

I am writing to remind you about our recent plane journey that we took for Dubai event meeting on 23 July 2026, and talked about weather to check if any Senior Chef job position availablity in your restaurants.

Having experience in food prepration across several popular restaurants, I have a specific skills to direct an organised master kitchen for your restaurant. I think working as a Senior Chef would enhance my abilities, I would plan to further take participation in regional or country popular TV programs.

As I work in different restaurants, I have got the experience 10 years of professional experience. As your restaurants are primarily focus on several food dishes, choosing me is I think would be the best option for both of us.
