During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Mr. Aman,

I am wrting to apply for a job in one of your restautants and I want to remind you that last week we met in Air India flight while coming back from Delhi to amritsar. I was sitting next to you and you shared your story of starting various restaurants in Punjab. At present I am looking for job and if, I will get a chance to work with you i would be very grateful.

As per my interests I can manage front desk or officework related duties perfectly. Last year, I have completed a diploma course in office administartion so working at your premisies will match with my field of studies. Also, it would provide me experience for better career prospects.

During my studies I have worked at one of hotel for my internship where I was managing front desk. So, my experience and qualification makes me suitable candidate for your restaurants. If you will have any position for me in your business please let me know. I will not disappoint you.
