During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.

Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter

• remind him when and where you met
• tell him what kind of job you are interested in
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Mr. Katreen,

I hope you find this letter in good health and high spirits.

My name is Sabeer, and I was sitting besides you during the flight from Delhi to Toronto on 16 September. The flight number was A198. When I shared my academic and professional experience with you during our conversation. You provided me your personal card to contact.

As you informed me that you are handling the franchise of Italian restaurant, I am also searching the job as a chef in the food chain. I have applied various locations but am unable to obtain a job.

Study in hotel management and a couple of years experience preparing edible items assist me to bring a variety in serving dishes. That is nont only beneficial to upgrade the customers but also important to beat the competition. I am able to work without any restrictions of working hours.

I would appreciate if you offer an opportunity to work in your restaurant. I am eagerly awaiting your response.
