Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You cover the main purpose and all three requested points: you identify the journey and date, express interest in a supervisory role, and give relevant experience managing three locations. However, the meeting details are incomplete because you do not name the route or destination, and the job title “head of supervisor” is unclear. Your suitability is asserted through “long term work experience” and leadership, but these points need specific support, such as describing your responsibilities or achievements. The letter is also below the required 150 words, so there is limited space to develop your case. Add clearer meeting details and explain how your experience matches the restaurant role.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a recognisable sequence: you recall the meeting, identify a vacancy, and explain your suitability before closing. Paragraph breaks help separate these stages, and “Also” and “Furthermore” signal additional information. However, the progression is sometimes weakened by unclear links, particularly “I did go through your company's website a found,” where the relationship between the ideas is difficult to follow. The final paragraph repeats the application point and “high skill sets” without adding a distinct reason. Use more precise transitions and organise the suitability details into a clear sequence—for example, leadership experience followed by your responsibility for three locations. A conventional closing and punctuation would also make the letter feel more complete.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for a job enquiry, including “position,” “industry,” “leader,” and “formally apply,” so the reader can understand your general purpose. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “oppurtinity,” “experties,” “possition,” and “requirm ents” (written as “requirments”) are noticeable. Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “head of supervisor” and “great customer satisfaction level.” Repetition of “skill sets” further limits variety. Choose standard job titles and collocations, and check spelling carefully. For example, “supervisory position” and “strong customer-service skills” would communicate your qualifications more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Furthermore,” and a reason clause with “as.” However, errors in verb forms, articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries are frequent enough to make parts of the letter difficult to read. Examples include “We had recently meet,” “we were siting,” and “you have a open position”; these need accurate tense, verb form, and article use. The sentence “which would defenitely helpfull for your company” is also incomplete and lacks a correctly formed verb. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, as in “AT” and the comma splice after “doing well.” Practise accurate basic clauses first, then build longer sentences with controlled linking.
