Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You cover the three requested points: you refer to meeting on a flight, express interest in management work, and mention two years of management experience. However, the details are not always clear: “flying to Canada to india 13 of december” makes the date and direction of travel difficult to understand, and “if you are looking for person” does not clearly explain what role you are seeking. Your reason for suitability is also under-developed; experience is mentioned, but no relevant skills or examples are given. The response is 119 words, so it does not meet the 150-word minimum. Add clear, accurate meeting details and develop your suitability with specific examples, such as staff supervision or customer-service experience.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a generally understandable sequence: you introduce yourself and the meeting, explain your interest, give a reason for applying, and close politely. This coherent overall arrangement helps the reader follow your purpose. However, the ideas are compressed into a few short paragraphs, and the connection between your experience and the job is not fully explained. For example, “I have 2 years of experience in management field” is followed by wanting to improve yourself, rather than a clear link to how you could contribute to the restaurant. Use separate paragraphs for the meeting, the role, and your qualifications, and add linking phrases such as “As a result” or “In addition” where they clarify the progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “chain of restaurants,” “management,” “experience,” and “motivation,” so your main purpose can be understood. However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the letter difficult to read: “restaurent,” “surprise,” “roels,” and “larege.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “improve me self” and “give benefits to both of us.” Choose more precise expressions for a job enquiry, such as “management position,” “develop my skills,” and “contribute to your business.” Proofreading spelling and using natural collocations would make your message clearer and more professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, and the reader can usually identify your main message. However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence construction, verb forms, articles, and punctuation occur often enough to affect clarity. For example, “you were flying to Canada to india 13 of december” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “You tolld me about you have chain” incorrectly combines “about” with a clause. “I want to join your company so i can improve me self” also needs more accurate pronouns and capitalization. Practise forming clear past-tense sentences about the meeting and use complete, correctly punctuated sentences to explain your experience and suitability.
