Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You include relevant information about your restaurant experience, your hotel-management studies, and why you returned home, so the reader can see a possible basis for employment. However, the letter does not follow the situation in the prompt: you say you met at your cousin’s wedding, rather than on a plane, and you do not clearly remind the businessman when or where the plane meeting took place. You indicate that you want a chef position, but the request is vague and the reasons for your suitability are not fully explained. Develop the connection between your training, five years of experience, and the specific role you are seeking, and make the meeting details accurate and clear.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic sequence: it opens by referring to a meeting, describes your work and studies, explains your return home, and ends with a request. Paragraph breaks help separate these points. However, the opening is difficult to follow, and the shift from the meeting to the job request is abrupt. Some links, such as “so that” and “because of,” do not clearly show the relationship between ideas, while several sentences run together without effective punctuation. Use a clearer paragraph for each purpose in the task and connect the experience, qualifications, and suitability in a more logical progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant job-related vocabulary, including “work experience,” “part time job,” “hotel management,” and “full time job,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and many spelling errors make the letter harder to understand, for example “restorent,” “coocking,” “sallary,” and “chief” where you mean “chef.” Some expressions are also unclear or unnatural, such as “soft response” and “I am writing a letter to you to remind you to offer me a job.” Choose accurate, conventional wording for a formal job enquiry and check spelling carefully, especially for the role and restaurant-related terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to communicate several connected ideas, including your studies, employment, and family circumstances, but most sentences rely on simple structures and frequent errors make the relationships difficult to follow. For example, “I have a 5 years work experience in delhi when i studies” has problems with articles, number agreement, and tense, while “Mr dilawar offer me also for a full time job” has an incorrect verb form and word order. Sentence boundaries and capitalization are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate past-tense sentences and use a few controlled complex forms, such as explaining how your studies supported your restaurant work. Proofread each sentence for tense, articles, and punctuation.
